DTV VISA

The opportunity to legally stay in the country for 5 years using the status of a digital nomad.
Digital Nomad Visa in Thailand: A New Opportunity for Remote Workers and Bloggers
Starting from July 15, 2024, Thailand is introducing a new visa type — the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV), also known as the Digital Nomad Visa. This visa offers new opportunities for relocators, freeing them from the need to frequently cross the border. Now, it’s possible to officially secure your status in Thailand without worrying about visa issues.
Who is the DTV for?

The DTV is perfect for those working remotely under employment contracts, as well as bloggers with large followings on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram. Thailand is showcasing its hospitality by inviting people with foreign income to live and spend money in the “Land of Smiles.”

OBTAINING A VISA WITH US
WE OFFER DTV VISA PROCESSING as part of the AVIAVisaRun Plus trip to Laos. Our escorts carefully review your documents before submission, significantly increasing your chances of successfully passing the interview at the Thai embassy.

Documents for DTV:

– Passport valid for more than 6 months
– Passport-sized photos
– Proof of one of the following purposes for obtaining the visa: remote work, enrollment in courses/treatment in Thailand, or family reunification for DTV holders
– Bank statement showing a balance of at least 500,000 baht (approximately $16,000)
– Employment contract (outside Thailand) or professional portfolio
– Acceptance letter for courses or medical treatment
– Documents proving family relationships for children and spouses (birth or marriage certificates)

Proof of remote work for a company outside Thailand:
– Company documents: a copy of the company’s registration certificate, license, or any other document proving the company’s registration where the employee works.
– Payslips or payment confirmations: invoices or any documentation the company uses to report salary payments.
– If possible, include “Thailand” as the remote work location in the employment verification letter.
– A cover letter explaining the reasons for applying for the DTV, stating your position and confirming that you can support yourself. Attach a photo to the letter. At the top, write: “For the Royal Thai Embassy, Vientiane, Laos.” For families and spouses, prepare a single letter for everyone, and include photos of all applicants in the documents.

Bank Statement:
– The bank statement must be from a personal account. Statements from business accounts, company accounts, savings, or brokerage accounts are not accepted.
– The equivalent of 500,000 baht must remain in the account throughout the entire visa run process. If you do not have sufficient funds in your account, you will not be able to obtain the visa.
– Providing false documents to the embassy may result in a permanent ban from entering Thailand.

Contact Information

The Thai Consulate reserves the right to request additional documents or conduct an interview without prior notice. All foreign documents must be translated into Thai or English and certified by an authorized translator or the consulate. The visa fee is 10,000 baht and must be paid in cash only.

Booking

Book your trip in advance. We create an electronic queue at the embassy, and for this, we need your email. The departure is from Hua Hin, but you can join the group at Don Mueang Airport if you are located in other regions of Thailand.

Notes

In case of delays, cancellations, or other force majeure circumstances, additional expenses are to be covered by the applicant. We are not responsible for the embassy’s decisions regarding visa issuance or rejection of the application.

Tip:

There are many applicants for this visa, and while document checks may currently be lenient, the requirements could become stricter over time. We recommend not delaying your application.

Great service from start to finish. Picked up In the morning stopped for a free coffee and ice cream. Driver assisted at the boarder, and assistance in Myanmar. We then stopped for free lunch on the return. Respect to the driver who had to drive through torrential rain on the return. I would be very happy to use this service again and happy to recommend. Thank you.
